BEDC's annual general meeting celebrates their previous year's achievements and update their upcoming initiatives. BEDC is governed by a 20-member Board of Directors representing Burlington's diverse business community. In 2011 BEDC welcomed John Chisholm, CEO and Partner of SB partners as the new Chair of the Board. Also joining the Board are:

• Paul Subject, President, STANMECH Technologies Inc.
• Ruta Stauskas, Vice President, Boehringer Ingelheim Ltd.
