Each year a member of the Burlington business community who exemplifies innovation and entrepreneurial skills is selected and inducted into the  Hall of Fame at the  Annual Signature Dinner. 

2012 Signature Event – Entrepreneur of the Year Celebration

This year BEDC will induct Mr. Reg Pollard as the 2012 Entrepreneur of the Year on June 7, 2012. Mr. Reg Pollard is the founder and former president of Pollard Windows. Headquartered here in Burlington, Pollard Windows Inc. grew from 2 employees in 1948 to approximately 250.   Today, the Pollard formula for success continues.  The Burlington-based company is recognized as a leader in window manufacturing technology.  Reg officially retired in 1995 however he continues to go in daily to keep abreast of changes in his company and the industry. He is a dedicated volunteer and philanthropist who is committed to helping the City of Burlington and its residents. Join us for an evening celebrating the spirit of entrepreneurship.
