Burlington is known as a great place to live, work and play.  In a study done by Money Sense magazine, Burlington was ranked as the top place to live in the GTA and the 4^th best place to live in Canada.  This 2009 study is based on a database of 24 indicators, ranging from weather and crime levels to home prices and employment prospects.  This ranking clearly demonstrates how Burlington is able to sustain itself with a diverse economic base while creating opportunities for the local workforce.
